SUPPLY CHAIN

 

We count with a supply chain that includes direct production and purchase on the following areas: Majes, Vitor, La Joya, Nazca and Trujillo due to the favorable weather conditions that they have.

The purchase it is made through a contract of supplying signed in the sowing season, which guarantees the complete sale of the production in the harvest season, taking in account a shelter price that is established with the farmer.

 

The farmers are provided with the seeds or plants as well as organic products, pesticides allowed in the sowing season.

We give technical expert advice through periodical visits according to a control growing plan on the sown fields to guarantee the quality of the products that we offer.

Our short - term objective is to achieve the Euregap certification of our main suppliers, as well as ours as an exporting enterprise. Currently, we are implementing the "Good Agricultural Practices" system.

 

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Collection of the raw material: It is generally made by hand, when the product it is on its physiological ripeness. The fruit is collected by cutting the peduncle by hand avoiding any damages to it. The fruit is collected in baskets very carefully to avoid bruises, after that is placed in prolipropilen sacks to be transported to the plant.

Transport: After being collected, it will be transported in an adequate time to the stockpile plant, previous weighing.

Raw material receipt: It will be done in a platform where the truck unloads with the help of operative staff; this stage is very carefully handled to avoid deterioration of the fruit by manipulation.

Raw material inspection: The admission is conditioned to quality standards made by general observation or physical analysis.

Raw material Storage: The best temperature conditions are from 15 to 20 ° C with a relative humidity of 80 - 90% and adequate ventilation. The fresh products are placed on wooden dais avoiding contact with the ground to prevent any kind of fungus or illnesses.

Selection and qualification: The sacks are moved to a selection area that allows to eliminate the deteriorated, bitten by insects products and those that don't achieve the quality standards on color, degree of ripeness, etc. This process is made by hand.

Production: Once the product is classified is now packed according to the case and later storage. In the whole production process, since the purchase - sale contract is done until the final product is sent, a monitoring process is made registering each phase and the changes that the product has to be available to our clients (trazability system).
